The Tier 4 engagement is for clients who need something built. It is a managed build service delivered under the Rockne Group name — from a proprietary workflow tool or client-facing application, to an AI agent, reporting dashboard, or website. We scope the project, direct execution through our vetted partner network, and own delivery against a defined timeline and budget. Build engagements are available as standalone projects or as a natural extension of any Tier 2 or Tier 3 advisory engagement — where we already understand your workflows, data, and strategic priorities.

How do we get started?+

All engagements begin with a 45-minute discovery call at no charge. We review your goals, current financial documents, and business context to confirm scope and fit. If we proceed, you receive a written scope of work with a fixed fee before any work begins.

What financial documents do you need?+

At minimum: profit and loss statements and balance sheets for the most recent 2 fiscal years, plus any available current-year actuals. For multi-entity groups, we need statements for each entity. QuickBooks exports, PDF reports, and Excel workbooks are all acceptable.

How does the fixed fee model work?+

Every engagement is priced as a fixed project fee scoped to your specific situation. There are no hourly billing surprises. The fee is confirmed in writing before we begin and covers all deliverables in the scope. Changes to scope are agreed upon in advance with any fee adjustment clearly communicated.

Can we start with Tier 1 and upgrade?+

Yes. Many clients begin with a Tier 1 engagement to validate the value of the work, then engage at Tier 2 or Tier 3 for subsequent projects. Prior work is credited toward the expanded engagement where applicable — we do not re-do work that was already completed.

Do you work with nonprofits and multi-entity groups?+

Yes. We have direct experience working with for-profit, nonprofit, and mixed entity structures including 501(c)(3) foundations, holding companies, and operational subsidiaries. Multi-entity engagements are scoped at the higher end of each tier range.

What does the optional advisory retainer include?+

Available exclusively to Tier 3 clients following project completion, the monthly retainer includes bi-weekly advisory calls, ongoing financial model maintenance, vendor and systems management support, and on-call access for quick decisions and reviews. Month-to-month with no long-term commitment required — think of it as having a part-time CFO and COO on call without the overhead of a full-time hire.
